Last week, we featured Zendesk, an online support system. Today, I’ll be featuring a content writing website.
Featured Review: EpicWrite
Hmmmm, let me start with a story… as I don’t want my article to be cheesy (But hey, this company really deserves all the credit!).
I discovered EpicWrite just last year after doing a complete website overhaul. As a small business owner, I never had much time to tend to my company website. At first, I didn’t really think that I needed to. My current customers already knew where my shop was, and if they had any questions, they could always call or send an email. Little did I know that a lot of potential clients are now searching online for information. They wanted to know more about my products and services through the outdated website I had running.
I didn’t know that my two year old website was getting left behind. I didn’t think that the content really mattered until a friend told me that I could be getting more hits if I made a couple of adjustments. At first, I didn’t really pay any mind to his comment and continued doing what I did best – which was run my business. I didn’t have time to fix my website, and I wasn’t financially ready to hire a freelancer to do the job for me. Soon enough, I realized that I needed to expand my reach and gain more clients. I couldn’t do this without tidying-up my website, but I didn’t know where to start.
I hired a web developer to make my page more user-friendly, but all he did was code. He didn’t have any experience in content writing, and I guess that’s why he was able to deliver the project so fast. My next problem was looking for someone who could create rich articles that would be beneficial for business. I knew nothing about search engine optimization or writing web content. All I knew was that if I was going to hire someone to do the job for me, I’d totally blow my budget.
Fortunately, the same friend who advised me to update my website knew about Epic Write. He used their content writing services in the past, and he had good things to say about them. I decided to drop by their website and take a look at what they had to offer.
I couldn’t believe my eyes – this company was actually offering articles for as low as 60 cents per hundred words. This fit well below my budget, so I didn’t hesitate to sign up and contact them. I’m glad I did because I was able to get all the articles I needed in under a week. To be continued at Part 2.
Next Week: I’ll be doing a featured review for Hootsuite.
